I heard this bassline sampled in a tune from a producer I know. It reminded me of a song I heard 15 years ago, and which I'm looking for since than.
He told me the bassline is from the Cal Tjader song "Soul Bird". The song is nice but it's not the version I've been looking for.
The version I know has a trumpet or trombone playing instead of vibes.
Google couldnt help me, do you know whi played the horn version of "Soul Bird" ??

Its from Dizzy, I remember it now, but its still a different version. More like this live version he did.
