Turntable trouble..

My old tech12 is acting up..i think its the tone arm but wondering what the SS massives take is..I'm getting a static type sound when I play records on it now..Tested the mixer and sound is fine off my 2nd turntable..what y'all think? Also looking to buy another while I deal with this problem...Peace-P77

    Did you check the grounding wires?

    Yeah, I tried jiggling them and all that but that doesn't seem to work..unless its to damaged and needs to be re-sodered..thanks

    Yeah thats what I was thinking..been trying the usual tricks to fix that but its not helping..
