Is that an OG Eastside Connection? Because the only ones I've ever seen are marble vinyl.

What do you think of the Lamont Dozier?

That Dozier record is the bomb. Dude has a real hard stance on those records, real coarse shit.

The insert that comes with it cracks me up - it hangs over my tables.

What's the deal on this one?

I tried so hard to feel this record, and never did. It just didn't grab me like other David Porter material.

Kind of a one tracker, but still a good soul LP. If you like that sweet love soul then you will dig it.

Yes. I'm just hatting cuz that's a grail of mine. I'm gonna have to stick with her 45's for now. Enjoy the Ruby, she's got one helluva voice.

I love sweet soul, and would not recommend getting this record.

Can someone enlighten me about the insert that came with the Lamont Dozier "Out Here On My Own" LP? I've seen it mentioned on the board twice and am really curious.

It's really nothing exciting - basically the image below on a 12x12 glossy sheet (obviously without the text) - It just cracks me up in relation to the whole album. Dude is rocking some real "pimp hand" shit here, and it just makes sense that it comes with a big picture of him in full
