Everyone Is A DJ b/w Your DJ Name

Seems like I meet someone every day who is a "DJ"....radio, club, wedding, etc.

My question is how many people out there will introduce themselves to you IRL by their DJ name?

Do you need to earn a certain level of fame before you should do this?

If I meet you out in public and you introduce yourself to me as Scratch Master Jay are you a DBag?

    I just read that in the U.S. alone in 2008 there were 900K+ people who considered themselves DJ's.

    The only time I do this is if I'm introducing myself to another DJ with whom I'm sharing a billing, just so he/she knows which name on the flyer I am. But even then, I typically give my real name, too.

    Even world famous DJ's don't say the DJ part and just say the rest of it right?

    i hate it when people introduce me as dj........... . As far as I am concerned the only people that should ever put a title infront of their name ever is (human) medical doctors (no vets, no dr of history or philosophy related)
