It's over the half way point now. Building is going to look good. Who's feeling it ?

Looking forward to visiting when it's completed in 2013.

Cool, be sure to ask for other glass and steel box recommendations to make your NY trip even more exciting.

The Gehry skydorms are far more interesting, TBH.

Tall buildings are cool because they are tall. Taller than other buildings.

    Even Boston has one!

Frankly, the WTC was cool because when you were up the top, you couldn't see it.

Whoa. Never seen this before. Nice.

They are building this in London. The first skyscraper in the UK above 1,000ft.

I'm going for a tour at some point soon for a project I'm working on. Frankly, owing to said project, I've done a lot of reading on 9/11 & the WTC, and I'm blown away by how monumental and sad all of it still is. The wikipedia entry on United 93 had me damn near in tears on the Amtrak a few weeks ago...

Building skyscraper offices in NY or London these days is a purely symbolic, or even talismanic exercise. The floor space is simply not needed.

It's all about two words: giant dicks.

All it's missing is a big sign on it that says "BOMB ME"

This looks so cool to me. Kinda like an American Music Award.

They should have built a 150 story building.....underground.

That would have been impressive....and more useful in the upcoming years.
