Our house is suddenly infested with tiny "sweet" ants.

I think they are in our walls and shit.

Any recommendations? The standard Raid spray ain't cutting it.

Combat for ants has worked for me in the past.

I've had good success with Ortho Home Defense Max Perimeter . Not only will it kill the ants, it will kill spiders, crickets, roaches and other insect pest.

Just be thankful you don't have the Texas Raspberry Crazy Ant!

A family with little kids moved in downstairs from me a few months ago, and suddenly I found that roaches were making their way up under my sink and proliferating at an alarming rate. I'm guessing they aren't cleaning up too well down there. The solution I found that worked best is roach food, which also works on ants and silverfish. Get yourself some boric acid (available at most hardware stores). It looks like this:

Mix it in equal parts with granulated sugar and flour. The roaches/ants are attracted to the sugar, and the flour helps it stick to them. They'll eat it, get some of it on their body, return to their lair spreading the killer mixture, and die. The package has a good list of the best places to put it. Careful though???don't put it anywhere kids or pets can eat it.

Yeah... I have a mini dachshund puppy that would get right into that :(

There's still plenty of places you can put it. The backs of cabinets under the sink, behind the refrigerator, under the stove???places that normally would have crumbs and food debris that ants could get to but the puppy couldn't. For other places, ant traps and that sort of thing are modestly successful. If you're going away for a weekend and taking the dog, you can release a bug bomb right before leaving.

u need bait so they can take it back to their nest, wich is probly under ur house/walls, and share it.....
raid only gets the ones u see......
    use a residual perimeter treatment.....
the boric acid is a repellant, but mixed might work....dont worry about the puppy, they will need much of that to even feel sick....plus they are very resilient...but dont let the babys play in it....
    always read the label....

have had good success with this stuff:

but put it in places the puppy cant go.

you put like 4-5 out in strategic spots, they check it out, go apeshit for it, then return to the nest with the "food" and the nextgen does not make it. took a few weeks total but it worked.

terro also has the borax version in the bottle, but i didnt try that.

2nd Terro, plus surround your house with an ant crystal perimeter.
