The "Bang Bang" sample is Nancy Sinatra (not country)
IMO most of the stuff named already doesn't really count - drum breaks don't have anything to do with the sounds of country... I was thinking there would be stuff I didn't know/couldn't remember named here, other than the obvious Johnny Cash and Area Code 615.
Comments
"Three feet high and rising"
"just to watch him die"
What about the Rusty Weir?
Dave and Sugar also have a break, but I doubt it has been sampled.
Area Code 615. Yes?
Some one sampled Glen Campbell's guitar, it's a Bach piece I think.
No one has sampled Jolene?
Interpolated on Pras' Ghetto Superstar wasn't it?
Tulsa Turnaround?
"You Turn the Light On," I think.
nope.
In my private mind garden "Camp Bird Mine" laid the groundwork for DJ Quik's whole style.
Is that country though?
This sounds interesting. MP3?
B/w
