TUCSON, AZ RECORD STORES-UPDATE

Record stores in Tucson, AZ seem like slim pickings now. After it was sold is PDQ basically over? Only other decent place now seems like Twist & Shout? Any suggestions/feedback?

    New spot behind Che's on 4th Ave called Ancient Radio. Great selection, but their hours are extremely limited. I think it's Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons only.

    PDQ is done. The new owners ruined everything. Twist & Shout is the only good thing to come out of that situation. (As I understand it, longtime employees got screwed by the new owners so a couple of them opened Twist & Shout. Ask for Mike there. He's a real good guy.) Not sure what happened to the records Judy's/PQD had though.

    There's also the 3 Bookman's stores. You can get lucky there.
