The Jersey Chaser ??? Move over Tony Parker! Back in December, basketball fans were stunned when Pheonix Suns star Steve Nash filed for divorce from his wife just a day after she had a baby. Since then new information has surface about the separation. Nash married Alejandra Amarilla in 2005 but broke up a few months before the baby was born after rumors of cheating allegations. The allegations were confirmed when Aljejandra gave birth to a black baby. Now the father is said to be Nash???s former teammate Jason Richardson. The Suns abruptly traded Richardson to the Orlando Magic in December, around the same time the baby was born. Sounds like an entire season???s worth of material for basketball wives!

    Oh boy.

That picture does not show me if the baby has a black father or not. Having known barrels of babies whose parents check off different boxes come census, you can't always tell just by looking. Especially so early in the game - skin tone changes, hair colour and texture changes, eye colour changes, features emerge and transform.

I always feel bad for overly dressed babies. Their outfits should not weigh more than them.

I just realized the title of this thread is "racially challenged baby scandal." Until now I didn't know being part Black made you racially challenged.

Indeed, a curious word choice. Back in '89, the Chicago Cubs traded Rafael Palmeiro to the Texas Rangers after dude supposedly slept with the then-wife of Ryan Sandberg. Now while Palmeiro was a really hot hitter at the time (ayo), Sandberg was practically royalty in Chicago. But these athletes, they never stop with their wife stealing. (See Parker, Tony and Barry, Brent.) However, in Palmeiro's wiki page, curiously, any mention of this scandal is omitted in his very brief entry under Personal Life.

Bonus beat: Jamie Moyer (!) was included in the trade.

lol - is it supposed to be racially-charged? Or that it is challenged, as in questioned?

Thank goodness no apostrophes were required!
