I'm loving Candi Staton's I'm Just A Prisoner and read a little bit about FAME Studios. What are some of the other classic albums that I should check out?

Stand By Your Man has a face melting cover of He Called Me Baby. You want to pick that lp up immediately if you find it clean and reasonably priced.

Minds not working now, but I like the Clarence Carter lps recorded at Fame (except Patches) and some people sweat the Travis Womack lp.

The Fame Gang lp is surprisingly weak.

I know I have favorites, just don't what they are right now.

A lot of 45s. Hook up?

    Wilson Pickett's on Atlantic
All those Candi Staton's are strong.
Was the Bettye Swann stuff on Fame/Capitol cut there?
    Etta James - Tell Mama.
Jimmy Hughes, but his LPs are kinda patchy, best to cherry pick from the 45s.
A bunch of Joe Tex on Dial.
Some Aretha stuff was cut there.
The Tams "What Kind Of Fool" 45
I like all the Clarence Carter stuff.
    Arthur Conley "Sweet Soul Music"
I like the Travis Wammack LP
so much good shit cut at Fame, it's ridiculous.
