Welcome to the latest installment of the Happy Jazz Show sponsored by Gama Clothing .
As you will all be aware, 3 weeks ago the North East coast of Japan was hit by an earthquake and following Tsunami that devatstated the region. Many people have lost their lives, homes and business's destroyed completely and survivors who count themselves lucky to be alive are now faced with rebuilding what they can salvage from this horrendous, natural disaster.
As we both have friends, work colleagues and listeners from that wonderful country, we thought it only appropriate to highlight, what we feel, is some fantastic Jazz related music, that has given us pleasure in our lives, back to the listener in exchange for a small donation to the Red Cross once you have listened to the show - however large or small, it will be truly appreciated.

Got to also say a massive Hi and thanks to everyone that made it down to Independent Movement on Saturday 19th March for the visit of Sadar Bahar in London. An incredible turnout for the night and our personal thanks go to Mark Gurney (host of Independent Movement), George Arthur, Stan Kalopitas, Johnny Reckless, Nick the Record, Nik Weston, Koh & sister, Zaf, Phil Asher, Herminio Afonso, Elena & Susana & Mario from Oviedo, Kealy, Amanda, Raggy Off Limits, Terry Hall and friends, Darren, Billy & Carla, Victor and Karen, Christopher, Pam and Marcia and of course Sadar for a late night session of great music to remember. For those of you who missed it, shame on you ha ha ha.
