Pass The Parcel (Music Recording Related)

I dunno if anyone's tried this on here before, or if anyone would be down for it. I know there's a bunch of us into creating music here and was thinking what if we started a collaboration thing where someone posts up an mp3 of a basic instrumental part and then after pre-determining an order of attack, successive people then add or do what they like to it until it reaches the end of the list of participants, each participants contribution is linked back to the original thread so everyone can see how it is evolving. The catch is you can't jump cue, only get to play with the finished mp3 of the person before you and only add one instrument or idea per person. Sound interesting or lame or old news.
