The cemetery (Burr Oak) mentioned in that article has recently come under serious investigation due to a mass grave site found at the far reaches of the property. Apparently families that could not come up with the full amount to bury their loved ones (which is around $3000) were told that everything could be taken care of over time, but in actuality the bodies were not deposited in the marked sites. Burr Oak is pretty much THE African-American cemetery servicing the south side of Chicago and that community is rightfully up in arms about the recent findings. The article I read gave me the creeps in a big way and the pictures were pretty chilling.

Sorry this isn't about baseball.
