Anyone ever heard this song by Essence of Truth on Juju records, 1979? It sounds like a cross between early disco and black rock, sort of 5 years too late but really good. An internet search for the song and group turned up nothing and the only Juju label that shows up is a current Swedish pop label.?

I've heard this North Carolina female funk 45. The same backing track saw an earlier Ju Ju release with a male vocalist singing about inflation; it's called "Squeeze That Dollar", and the band is listed as The Positive Approach. "Gator Time" is based on a crude fraternity party dance (basically getting down on the floor, in the beer, and making like the animal) and made sense for the band since they were primarily playing college campuses by that point.
