Anything good in D.C. next week?

I'll be in Arlington, Va, from Wednesday to Friday afternoon for a work conference (free at night), then looking for another hotel in a more interesting area of the D.C. for Friday and Saturday night. The Strut's resident Detroit Red Wings fanatic, since relocated back to Michigan, helped show me around during a visit at this time last year. Anything worthwhile on the docket for next week or weekend?

Oof. I would like to see Krivit. Only saw him once, about 10 years ago at a lofty in Chicago and he worked the hi's a little too much for my liking, in fact it was grating to the ears. But I know it was probably just an off night. Where's this Jellybean event?

I am having trouble figuring out if you are looking for something to do this coming weekend or the following.

If it is this coming weekend, Krivit is the move. Deep Sang and I are also DJing at Wonderland on Friday if you want some hip hop / party rocking / pick up women kind of place.

I think I went to Wonderland for your guys' night -- wall-to-wall packed. Crowd edged college-aged but I wasn't mad. Definitely marking down U Street Music Hall -- sounds perfect.
