RIP MAESTRO TOTICO (EUGENIO ARANGO)

We've lost another giant - maestro Totico (Eugenio Arango), rumbero mayor, akpuon, quintero supremo, cajonero, and one of the most beautiful voices in the history of recorded Afro Cuban music. May he rest in peace. The Patato y Totico LP with Cachao, Arsenio, Virgilio, Curba, & Cadavieco will be a timeless classic for all of eternity - they've all left the planet. There's a helluva rumba going on somewhere. My condolencias to Zuny and Totico's entire family.
