Haven't been to a club w/ a Funktion One set-up yet, are they any good?

    mates run a funktion one sound, they sound perfect, great clarity but they do lack the warmth of other rigs, Void for example. particularly in the lower end. very good for music that needa a lot of detail though, electronica etc

    There's one at Wrongbar in Toronto. Like Mick said, it sounds AMAZING for stuff with detailed highs and big lows (Joker and Four Tet both sounded incredible there). Nothing special when it comes to the funk and the soul (etc.).

    have never really been into the hype of them. some installs sound good, others don't. ditto on the lack of smooth low end. sonotheque had theirs set up nice for what that place was.
