Hi friends,
I will be in Seattle the last weekend in February to see a medical specialist (nothing life threatening)
Just wondering if there are any jams going down on Saturday Feb 26?
Also, as my wife will be with me, what's to do? Good eats? Digging spots? Shopping?
Thank you in advance for your input. I've always wanted to go to Seattle, and now I will!
Kindly,

Yes. I need to go to this spot sometime in my life.
It is very good. I used to get lunch there a couple times a week. I can walk there from my place.
So much so that his picture is up in his restaurant. My friend would (I think he still does?) showcase some of the salumi's on his menu. SO, I have had it, but need to go there.
I am feeling a roadtrip...
Yeah, the homie Dino is a good guy. He is usually only at Salumi maybe once a week now as he is retired. His daughter Gina and her husband run the place now. The food is still excellent.
dont know if you got the time or the desire, but i had an unforgettable experience in the olympic peninsula. ho river valley. amazing unreal hiking
HI CHAN!
HI B**NT!
If you are into reggae, Zion's Gate is worth checking out for records.
Go to Theo chocolate in freemont and taste test all their chocolate. The pink/black/grey salted carmels are delicious.
Check out La Casa del Mojito for some excellent cuban food, super spicy habanero sauce by request, nearby is Satisfaction records which people talk a lot of smack about (must be tough having like 13 vinyl stores, huh seattle) but the dude even alphabetizes 45s and prices were way cheap. I was happy.
You really can't go wrong for Pho in seattle, even their worst is most cities best.
Second on pikes place. Never get tired of it.
Down for bike tour and drinking beer.
It's what I do.
Saw the Picasso show at SAM.
It will be gone before you get to Seattle, but the Nick Cave show looks good and the permanent collection is good.
Went to Pike Market. Ate at a few old places that were cool because they were old and in the Market. When I lived in Seattle I rarely ventured deeper than the newsstand and radical book store at the entrance. No fish were flying because they are fixing up that corner of the market.
Walk on was like .50c I think.
That was to Bremmerton. If you wanted to go Port Townsend or someplace nice it was more.
But, grab some deli food, walk on to the ferry. Look at the skyline. Nice. Especially if it is a nice day.
It looks like there are plenty of nice diversions to help keep things positive during our stay.
Thanks again.
