His career was rich and hard to capture in a few lines. Most notable, for me anyway, was his studio work and keyboards with/for Bunny Lee, Lee Perry and The Upsetters and The Hippy Boys, and it is generally accepted that he is the man behind The Wailers' Mr. Brown.
He was living in NY - worked with Wackies and was recording/playing until very recently.

    I had the pleasure of meeting the man a couple of years ago when he performed with my friend's band backing him up.
    Got to see him tear it up with "Live Injection" at the time and it was a treat.


  • Damn, I met him a few times and he was the sweetest soul you could imagine, and completely humble despite the incredible music he's responsible for.

    RIP to a real giant.
