Mystery Record - Take a Stab

About seven years ago, I found a used copy of a record. It was $25 which I felt was way too steep for me at the time. (I don't feel that way anymore). I passed it up, but before I did, I was able to listen to it. It was a Jazz/Rock Trio and the cover was a gatefold, psychedelic, colorful, hand drawn illustration - very much along the lines of the artwork on the cover of "Creation" by Fever Tree. I've searched high and low on the internet, trying to ID this record without knowing the name of the group or the album. I've never seen it since and I'm just wondering if anyone on here has any ideas. Thanks in advance!
