part time employment in the bronx?

seriously tho,
a friend and former student of mine moved to the bronx and is studying at Monroe community college up there. he's trying unsuccessfully to find some part time work, i'm sure he is not fussy. he's 21, dependable, 6'5", liberian, great sense of humor and a very kind person. hes got experience in farming, for what its worth.

anyone got any ideas? anything helps.
