It's a strange thing, the way certain songs bind themselves to specific moments in your life. I find the great losses for me are bound to pops hits ??? the songs I could not escape when I was dealing with the loss, but still reflected the feeling of the thing.

When my friend John died, it was this:

They're both songs you'll hear on the radio. But they kill me every time. I can't listen to either of them without tearing up. And I don't care. I loved them both and I know you know right now exactly what I'm talking about. I'm truly sorry for your loss.

listen to the lyrics to all of these songs especially the last one. the first 2 are for when a man has lost a woman. the last is when a man has lost a good/best male friend. they are all very sad to me. hope you enjoy.
