Seriously though, if this was anybody other than Fatlip, I'd probably wouldn't like it much.
There you go.
Ha ha! But it IS Fatlip though! And he's zany and out-there enough to make it work. This song is fun! The video too. I'll probably be the only person on here riding for this, but still...I'm riding for this.
can i hate this and think its fantastic.....
cuz i do and it is...
I think that's where I am with it, too. I mean, it's awful, but it's also really funny and very Fatlip (which is a good thing). I kind of love it, but I don't want to listen to it again.
Seriously though, I'm happy that Fatlip is back and making happy funtime music even if it's not a-b-a-b over jazzy loops and dusty breaks. Like I said, this is 100% Fatlip and really, nobody should be shocked that he made a song like this.
Those "oh-oh-oh" backup vocals are straight outta Rockwell "Somebody's Watching Me".
The song seems forgettable to these ears, but good to see him back.
It's never ever a good sign when I'm only a minute into the song and already feel like I've heard it 10 too many times in the last week. I'm not a hater by nature but this has to get the thumbs down.
On the other hand, I thoroughly endorse anything produced by DJ Fresh so the thread was not a total loss.

Yes. This too.
Yes. Pretty terrible.

The gauntlet hath been thrown.

cue the hiero and pharcyde hatteurs talmbout "squeeky-voiced rap" and generally hating on non-gangster west coast 90's output. *yawn*
Hijacking my own thread like "WHAT?!"
