anyone know a good program for a Mac (i am using pro tools now) that can record and convert from vinyl to mp3 in one shot?

it'd help cut my time in half and alleviate a lot of stress

preferably a free program that is easy to use

thanks

There are many reasons for real time bouncing such as outboard processing, but for recording records it sucks shit balls.

Like brodie said, Audacity. It's pretty much the shit for free. Fast exporting to wav, mp3, ect.

    Good luck.

    Audacity

  • I've found the audio recorder bundled with Toast Titanium to be pretty good.
