The artists will showcase their work Sept. 4 to Sept. 11 as part of the Hopscotch Arts Festival???s celebration of hip hop culture.
Hip hop musician Classified will perform a free all-ages show on the last day of the festival at the Grand Parade.

The event will feature also France???s premier graffiti artists Cellograff. A competition featuring Canada???s best dancers will vie for more than $2,000 in prizes.

???This event will focus on positive traditional hip hop and provide free accessible events for all involved,??? said Hopscotch organizer Drew Moore. ???Classified is the best selling hip hop artist in Atlantic Canada and we???re excited to show everyone why he???s earned that title.???

As for the bboys, or breakdancers, the festival will feature Atlantic Canada???s first one-on-one competition.
