Not sure if you're all familiar with this already, but I just stumbled across some video footage of an old Detroit-based public news program called Colored People's Time that I thought some of you might find interesting.
"The original mission was to increase the availability and accessibility of media relating to African-American experiences in order to encourage greater involvement from Detroit citizens in working to resolve community problems."
