Slightly beyond my years here but, once upon a time, wasn't there a spot you could go to in most furniture stores and visit a section housing stands and cabinets built for your stereo? I am finally going to ditch the cinder blocks and shelves for a more grown turntable stand. And by stand, I don't mean a spot on my desk next to the MPC and computer.
I am going to put my two Technics in separate parts of the house. HOWEVER, where can I find a nice stand to hold a receiver, CD player and turntable on top? Should I just build one myself? Can someone point me to the thread where this already was discussed?
