In Hollywood - need food / things to do

Am in Hollywood for a day or two... looking for some decent sushi / mexican spots. I know there'll be plenty around, but we're around Hollywood & Vine so I'm thinking it'll be a bit average? Any help you got is appreciated.

Also - anyone playing tonight?

    When in Hollywood, I spend time at Amoeba and Roscoe's.

    Nozawa on Ventura in Studio City is a 10-15 minute drive from Hollywood -- it's not worth eating sushi anywhere else, IMO.

    Only place I can think of in that area is Kabuki... and yeah its definitely average.

    You could shoot south west to Melrose and hit up Sportie LA for kicks - also visit Fat Beats - and then dip down Fairfax (south of the LACMA) to Little Ethiopia for food.
