I am moving from Kentucky to LA for a 3 month internship spanning June 1 - Sept 1... and am really stoked (about both living in LA and making the cross-country drive). My girl and I are leaving this Saturday and spreading the drive out over 4 days. The strut always seems to come through with excellent trip recommendations and right now my itinerary is still wide open (pictured above is our tentative route and mileage).Definitely staying with friends in KC on Saturday night. Then I'm considering driving past Denver Sunday to have more time Monday in one of Utah's national parks. I have initially picked Zion because it is the closest to our route but was also considering Arches NP, Grand Canyon NP, Bryce Canyon, etc.If anyone knows eateries, oddities, beautiful camping/hiking, swimming holes, shops, etc that I should try and hit, that advice would be greatly appreciated. I'll post some photos when I get settled in LA. Thanks - patrick
