Software for Editing/Remixing

Looking at some software to do some editing/remixing/blending for OSX.Right now I am leaning towards Ableton Live Intro ($100), but I want to get some opinions first.What about Apple Logic Express ($200)?no external hardware except Apogee Duet interface

    ableton all the way. i use both logic and ableton, and logic is nowhere as user friendly for a beginner
