Screen capture software for creating/editing video

Anyone have any ideas? I don't know shit about this stuff. Basically need some easy to use software to create a video tutorial of someone navigating through a website. I previously tried out Windows Movie Encoder or whatever the POS' name is and while it did okay on capturing video and audio, editing was almost non-existent. Is there anything out there that is some all-in-one package for capturing and editing? Editing would really only need to consist of piecing takes together, putting words on top of the video (idk wtf the technical term is for this), and shit like that. Windows only and a few recommendations over a few price ranges would be even more appreciated. Thanks.

Camtasia can do all that. I have used it but a long time ago, it was pretty simple to use, did the job, but nothing special.
