never thought id need to do this but i juss got a message from the station coordinator sayin they were desperate for a fill in. she was almost begging for someone so i said i would fill in. now i should be alright but ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated! if ya got some gems id love to know and play! im not expecting F*ck all but this was the 1st place i thought to turn to for some guidance. sorry for the lame post!HOLLA|!

    You should play John Heartsman and then try to explain to your listeners why a mediocre lounge jazz record is worth $5000.

    Hey Escoe,

    What sort of jazz do they want played? Straight-ahead? Progressive? What? This would help in making some suggestions.

    well im playin from a university station so its pretty open ended.
    dude seems to play more of a bobbi humphrey,roy ayers ,crusaders,donald byrd type stuff. seems like hes goin for more of the jazz funk.

    What do you have access to? You can't go wrong with classic Blue Note and Prestige stuff.
