Some dudes I know down here in Austin throw these Rockit parties about twice a year. Last one I went to, Afrika Bamaataa was there. I didn't go to the one this past weekend, but some photos just popped up on facebook and I thought them worthy of sharing...

    It's called Highball. Alamo Drafthouse took up the former Salvation Army in the same shopping center as their South Lamar location and put in bowling alleys, an endless bar, and a stage area. I went there for the first time last Thursday night for a Chicken George/Table Manners event...and the place is definitely boss!
