when someone tries to request you on a social networking site that you aren't friends with but you run the risk of seeing them because you are friends with one of their siblings?i have had these Facebook requests unanswered for weeks and i dont want them on my page at all because i think their views and just general persona is disgusting but if i just deny em they're gonna be all sourwhat are your views on this?

    If you're worried about real world contact, then;

    Accept - give them the most limited profile view possible and then click permantly ignore for all status updates etc.

    also with FB you can accept someone and then delete them later on and they wont notice unless they try to post on your page etc. I found this is diplomatic way of dealing with such requests, ppl that you add on but dont really communitcate with.

    I got my first MySpace-style pornbot friend request on Facebook today.

    I thought that shit was AWOL on FB.

    Not feeling it if we get like MySpace was, where I had to delete 15 BS friend invites every time I logged on.

    Every time I some one tells me to check out their facebook page I follow link.
    But I don't see the page, I see a page asking me to log in or sign up.
    Then I leave.
