Repairing a Grounding Wire Help (1200 rel)

so the grounding wire on one of my 1200's is broke, the horseshoe-like part that goes to the mixer is basically, gone, is there an at home remedy to get it working correctly again?

    you don't need the horseshoe. just peel back some plastic with nail clippers.
