    Yes.

    I worked on a dairy farm when I was first out of high school. 3 actually. Research farms owned by the U of Maryland and a USDA farm.

    Also my grandmothers farm, which she no longer farmed by the time I came around, was across the street from a dairy farm.

    But I never worked milking cows.
    I got to do a few squirts, to see what was up.

    I did pure grunt work, shoveling silage, and feeding, and bucking bales of hay.

    The guys who worked in the milking parlor were like royalty and did not associate with the likes of me.
