Real Life Ebay Auctions?

I was just thinking last night, in the news of the demise of ANOTHER record store in Sydney, Do any vinyl spots ever try doing Real life auctions in store? I havent heard of anything like it, but it would be cool to see.... maybe only a few shops that could do it down here.Would that work? Say if once a month a store puts several of its heavier titles on auction...would it help get all the diggers into the store... I dont run a store so i cant test it out, but Im throwing it out there....

    From a customer point of view I don't really like the sound of that. "Oh the jazz records.. those aren't marked dude" related.

    Groovy Tunes in Livo. Apparently dude is shutting down and just Ebaying shit form now on...

    Not the most Funk/Soul heavy spot, but I have picked up some beautiful bargains over the years from them..... Although quality went down with the new owners.
