I had to learn that shit thru grade school in the mid 70's.My slightly older co-worker didnt take it (late 60's). Dude always asks me spelling questions.Dude.......... CUL-MIN - ATION - sound it the fusk out.My mom said they dont teach that shit anymore. What's the word.I think we talked about this before.

    We tried to get my nephew Hooked on Phonics back in the 90s. That shit didn't work for him. He's a smart kid, just not a good student.

    They teach kids things like "creative spelling." If children are the future, based on what I've seen, we're f*cked.

    They teach kids things like "creative spelling." If children are the future, based on what I've seen, we're f*cked.

    I receive emails from young associates that are written in "text" lingo.

    I'm sure it's me who has to adapt.

    I got to say the English language sucks when it comes to spelling shit out, Spanish is heaps better in that sense, 99% of the time the way the word sounds, is how you spell it.

    Although now with email/text/twitter generation I think correct spelling will be optional, which aint neccesarily a bad thing, I mean language has to evolve.

    My prediction....the first thing to go will be the vowels!
