    I noticed this mp3 is a mpu..which I guess is the reason that these different programs I DLed can't convert it to a wav or another kind of audio file. Anyone familiar with converting mpu files?

    First try renaming the extension to mp3 and see if that works. it might...

    yeah, I just did..and that did work. But, I converted it to a WAV file to see if Cubase would open that but still no luck. How can I convert it to a cpr or other file that Cubase can recognize? I guess that this is a pretty simple thing to accomplish. thanks.
