His talent as a singer was discovered at the age of 12 when Carl Dawkins would put young Milton on the street corner to sing...later, with ???Prince Allah???, aka Keith Blake, Milton formed the ???Leaders??? He aslo sang with such groups as The Emotions(Jamaica), the Progression, and the Hippie Boys.He continued however to record occassional singles for different producers like ???This World???, recorded with Lee Perry and released under the name King Medious. During this time, Milton became more and more intersested in the business and the organizational side of the art.Eventually Milton produced his version of Curtis Mayfield???s ???Gypsy Women??? on the Success label. Reconginzing the need to expand his horizions he migrated to the United Staes where he met Lloyd ???BullWackie??? Barnes in New York City. Barnes recognized Milton as a talented artist and the two collaborated together.
