anybody got a link to that classique thread?Was it Hemol? Who was it? The person who said he hated women because they mislead you into thinking they are cool and that they love music and then you get to their house and she's got Terrence Trent Darby's greatest hits.

    That was someone newer than Hemol (whom despite starting some questionable threads would likely never start one disparaging women for something so trivial). I can't recall who it was, though.

    Hey you will be delighted to know that I have to displace myself to the glories of Mumbai on Friday, and not back til late May (work-R)! - although the occasional sortie back to Blighty might be do-able.

    Since no-one came through with hot digging spots a month or so back when I asked for them, I must go in blind armed only with a rinked copy of Monsoon 'Ever So Lonely' as a visual identification aid.

    Really? Does it get better after page two? The initial post made me laugh because it was poking fun at a stereotype, but the responses are bad looks all around. I'm embarrassed that the prevailing notion on SS seems to be that it's the man's job to take his little lady by the arm and introduce her to the wonderful world of real music. Yeesh.
