Have you heard Mark Ronson's version of this?

    Hip-hop drums + Dap Kings horns (I think) + ODB =

Yeah, he's the weakest link on the track, i'll give you that.

I would love to hear Dr. Claw get on the mic, though. His cat could be his hypeman.

i think dr claw's debut on a rap track was with fresh prince's "nightmare on elm street" under the guise of freddy

British white dudes doing their best to emulate black American music -- some things never change...

My girlfriend has open ears to new kinds of music and loves most of the shit I show her but "her music" is pretty terrible. Lots of Ska, 70s radio rock and some of that pop/punk/emo shit. This is one song that I can F*ck with though. Not sure what it is, maybe the chorus, maybe the drums.

The Paul Nice remix of this track is much better.

Yes! I love this song. I won't say that I hate their genre, but I definitely don't check for that stuff. My roommate in college played me some of their songs and they were more folksy and slow and I was like whatever. I heard this joint and was like "maybe I have them all wrong."

definitely not with you on this one.

this is horrible. one of those songs where i finally pressed the pause button to make it stop and immediately felt that my life had vastly improved upon encountering silence.

I used to have a Cardigans 7" that had this Sabbath cover on it:

Even stranger is that they also covered "Mr. Crowley" and "Changes"
    if not more Ozzy/Sabbath material.

Like most folk, hearing Carnival for the first time was a 'WTF is that?' moment.
    Instant killer.

I invested in the sheet music:

Their songs are chocabloc with the weird jazz chords and surreal changes, and when thrown into the pop-rock idiom make for instant freshness.

Also recommended is the Japanese pop'n'bossa versions
