I think it's on of the best out there. Basically looks just like Google Chrome. They're both based off the Apple Webkit. Neither has support for add-on's yet which still puts FF way ahead. However, FF has been dragging it's feet on releasing the new FF3.1 which the faster Javascript engine. Online apps like Gmail run a lot faster on Chrome and Safari 4 as a result.
I think it's closed top new members. I used to have a Weave membership but it hasn't worked in a long time. I think it's one of those projects Mozilla people work on in their spare time so new releases are few and far between.
Edit: I see they came out with a new release yesterday. Maybe I'll check it out again. It's been unreliable for a lot of people I've heard.
I've had enough of Firefox just because of the start up time, the overall look and compared to others I can find an all round more suitable browser for me. As a result I've started using Google Chrome and it has become my favourite by far.
