ok i would love any advise from people that have dealt with this ... i am about to take over an apt from a friend and he just told me that he has termites in the building. he gets his apt sprayed once a year. this is in the LA areawondering the following1. are termites so damn common in LA that it doesnt matter?2. has anyone had termites eat their record covers? (apparently drywood termites can eat books)i know that the easy answer is to find another place butits just such a great apt in a perfect area. at first i was like "f this" but then thought if its that common in LA its better to know about them.anyway i figured that i will likely get pictures of dudes in termite costumes and silly comments which are always fun but any real answers would be appreciated
