I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself.

I think pawnshops are a better bet for bargain priced 1200's right now.
Although $399.99 is a ridiculous price New.

LOL, thats funny I just snapped this pick at a Target last night:

I wonder if Target is carrying Turntables again too? I didn't make it to the Electronics department, but I do remember when Fred Meyers started carrying new vinyl for the first time in like 15 years in early 08'

Anyways, Its not like Record knik-knaks are a new thing. I've seen the coasters and Clocks but the Frame is something I haven't seen before.

    Weird.

I wonder what Costco has to offer....

  • cosco has got some dodgy usb one for 180 or so...399 is a ridiculously low price for a new tech 12 since that is what used ones seem to go for these days.

im still debating whether to go down to Aldi and grab one of their usb TT for 79 bucks.... I should go check it out at least...

Maybe if they can only be bought online and shipped to a store for pick up vs. available in-store then Wal-mart has a deal with someone else?

and I think all the items at Target are $12.99
they had circuit board type knik-knaks below the vinyl stuff

Thought this was going to be about techno 12-inch records being sold at Walmart.

Those MK2s are pretty cheap though. Here in Japan used ones are getting super cheap because everyone regretfully going digital.

For food yes, electronics no. It will eat lp's so don't put anything half decent on there.
