VPI 16 (not 16.5)

Anyone ever use one of these VPI 16 models? If I recall, the only main difference is that you have to close the lid of them in order to use the cleaning system properly (which seems like a rather dumb design choice but what do I know?) Any other liabilities people would be wary of? Thanks!

    Oh yeah. Some don't have proper drainage. Really old ones just have a naked sponge on the inside to catch the moisture! So watch for any signs of leaking. The closing of the lid is more of a pain than you'd think, but you can retrofit it for a few bucks.

    I think the kit is $60 online

    I have a 16 that I got, don't really need it but it's a nice cleaner...
