Look at the moon right now!

Do you guys see Mac Tonight and Venus all snuggled up? I have a beautiful view from out here in the desert.What's the best way (settings-wise) to take a pic of this with a standard digital camera??

    so cool! my mom is in texas and she called to say it was shining brightly, no seeing in here in the city but she said it's a half moon covered by Venus burning brightly. there's someone i hope gets to see it but i won't be around to know if they do. moving records all weekend.

    Technically, the moon is reflecting daylight so you would want to use a daylight type exposure to get detail in the moon like a 1/400 at f8. Otherwise, just point and shoot. The more zoom the better.
