The Capsoul compilation on Numero got plenty of play when I first bought it, but damn, I just listened to it on my way to work today, and it's everything you want in Soul music. The music on there is nothing short of brilliant.John Doe "Fused Funk Vol. 3" I gotta be honest. I didn't think much of it when I first copped it, but again, I am loving this mix right about now. Every track is "hot lava". Wish I knew more about funk 45s.

    Too many to choose from....but there's this one baseline that is particularly DOPE, like around track 12 or 15...but seriously, the whole mix smokes.
