has this been discussed?really really great...recorded in 69 and unreleased until now, only a 1000 copies. Grab one, highly recommended...basically some rich french dude hired the Pretty Things to back him on a vanity project and this is the result...

This one's been doing me right too:
Whoa! Really? I got mine in a local shop for $15.
I like this, but if you own the Electric Banana albums,
only about 1/3 of this is of much interest, as the songs like
"Eagle's Son" are just inferior versions. Previously unreleased
and otherwise unrecorded tracks like "New Day" definitely work
for me, though.

Is this the library stuff? Has it been reished? Vinyl?
Yes, yes, and yes.
I'm pretty sure most EB reissues carry the songs "Eagle's Son" and
"Alexander" which were made for a film in 1968 ... I have the late 70's
pressed LP comps "Electric Banana: The 60's" and "Electric Banana: The 70's"
(label: BUTT) which are certainly easy to track down, typically cheap, and
full of the material you want.
you musta lucked out and found a used one because the thing wholesales for 25 bucks...I was kinda disappointed with some of the electric banana stuff when I finally heard it (after waiting for years and years)...I like this debarge record more in a way because it seems like an actual album instead of a bunch of tracks...just my 2.
Nah, it was sealed, at a store that mostly sells new reissues like this.
Maybe she got a good deal on them.
I find it hard to believe you like Debarge's vocals better - or the recording quality, which is pretty poor on this, at least compared to the EB tracks. But hey, it's all good. I kinda like having the instro versions on the EB albums too, though. The instro of "Eagle's Son" makes for some good radio background music.
