I can't figure out how to turn down the levels in my headphones. When I'm overdubbing say a guitar track... I would like to be able to turn down the guitars volume in my headphones so I can here the rest of the music without compromising the gain.
On my 4 track tape recorder... it's called monitor level. In Logic 8, beats me.
if you go into preferences you under core audio there is a option for independent monitor level. Try that. You can then set the fader to a good level for recording and after you are done recording it will bring the fader back to unity, 0.
